Honest to say, that an employee makes the business run, not the owner. The owner, though, on the other hand, pays the employee for the service.
In most cases, both play important roles. No money to start the business, no employee to work for the business.
A happy employee will help build income for the business to survive. Customers generate money for the business afloat and the owner budgets and make decisions.
Business owners, most of the time working to the max to make sure everything is fine, leading to exhaustion.
My tip:
Treat your employees, if not all of them, at least ONE as your business partner. With this, you are guaranteed that the business will run according to your expectations. Isn’t it the most important part is the bottom line?
