Walking to a restaurant, pub or any eating establishment the first that catch a consumer’s eyes is the ambiance.
Second is the smell and third the environment (clean, hot or well ventilated space).
We are all diners specially when we travel. By not going far, a local visit to your favorite restaurant may seem to say it all.
When I am serving people, I encourage guests to comment with their service, food and their experience.
I told my colleagues (Staff) to give their best and do their part to maintain such a 98 percent level of service and consistency.
Though it affects ones experience who are with them on a specific event, a visit to a restaurant should be enjoyable and end up a wonderful meal experience.
Is there a perfect experience at all?
Yes for the people that appreciates the experience.
Yes if you believe you have done your part in making sure that the glass you serve them has no mark on it, that the cutlery has no dent or dirt on it and that the plate has no left overs stain from the previous use even it just came out from the dish washer.
Personally, I do not judge where I eat but as soon as I walked in, there and then I decide what to order. It could be an hour long meal or a 20 minutes snack.
It will tell all.
How about you, can you share your dining experience below. I would love to read it.
Merci!
