Journaling
Yesterday, I am listening into one of the Canadian radio station and the talk of the day is Journaling.
It catch my interest on the topic and so I stay tuned until I can while driving to work and the guest speaker, host and the caller have good points.
Journaling is very interesting because this is where you jot down your ideas, thoughts, dreams, goals etc that you do not want to go away. So many people are good at having ideas in their minds, and according to the guest speaker, my bad I did not get her name, only a minimal percentage of these ideas get a follow up or even done.
In short, journaling is a checklist. A checklist/s that interest you as a person and it is true that you either want to pursue that idea you have thought, the one that you written down or it only stays there where you wrote it. I am one worst of it. I have so many paper journals since I even can not remember and with a good guest looking back, its been almost 15 years now that I have been doing it. And yes, I still have some of it in a junk file I hoard and still keep on journaling with whatever that pops up in my mind. Most of my journals have, full dates, no time but have a title and many other sub titles and other sub ideas on the ideas that I thought first.
Does it help to do journaling?
You might be surprise of the answer you will get. I do believe one point of your life, you have write down something in a piece of paper and that paper either end up in the trash bin, you have kept it to your treasure chest, or it got lost over time.
When you remember a thought and you already have made a journal before. It is possible that you have exactly write down all the details of that thought again that once crossed your mind.
Give it a try to yourself if you haven’t done it yet. There is fun there and I hope that it is not only written down but it get materialize. Good luck!
