Just like fear, it lies in the brain. If you always think that you can’t do this or that, you formulate and teaching your brain not to do anything. Where in, anything can be achieved if you are at the present. By saying this, you have the control to do everything in your might, the first step is to set your mind that you can do it, even it is impossible.
If you are following me, you have seen my first post regarding my Simple 5 days of encouragement.
Word of the day.
“Keep yourself busy. This is the only way to avoid laziness and boredom.”
Remember your 24 hours. Use it wisely. If you are a night person, there’s nothing wrong with that. Make sure, every time you do something, it has to help you progress.
Exercise, do chores in the house, do some errands, read books, enhance your skills.
You can still watch your favorite movie, but you have to limit it.

There’s a lot of things going on right now, elections, covid 19, hunger, hatred, and break outs (as if its the government fault, eh?)
I will be doing my part to enlighten and encourage you for 5 days. I will say this one now, I might miss one day, but I will make sure it will be 5 days. You can do anything you want for the 2 days.
This 5 day encouragement will be based on universal rules of existence.
It doesn’t need to be Monday to Friday, it could be Tuesday to Saturday and so on.
Are you ready?

By reading the lines, it is truth. So, what ever you are doing right now, take the time and feel the experience. If you haven’t done what you have to do today, there’s another one tomorrow.

I do believe that you know somebody in your inner circle of family or friends who works in the hospitality industry, mainly in the food and beverage sector.
Just like any other jobs, nurses, policemen, fire fighters, there’s always that space, to grow.
Every industry, department, government or private entities, there is always that vacant position. From clerical jobs, to admin and the head or Director.
Would you now, consider to work in the hospitality industry?
Travel when and where you can. This is only one perk that comes with, in working in the hospitality industry.
Earning for a living.
Truth hurts as it is, until you decide to open your own business. With all the jobs available out there, jobs in the hospitality, is one of the jobs that you can earn a good sum of money when you work hard and smart.
Stressed because you don’t have the experience? Don’t be. There’s only one thing that you have to bring.
Confidence.
No matter how experienced you are in the field, or trying to impress the interviewer, it always leave to how you project yourself.
Piece of advise, work in the industry for just two years and move on or create your business whenever you are ready.
You can easily switch jobs even without experience if you have the courage to absorb and dedicate yourself to the work at hand.
Be confident, and things will be in place.
What’s the future for the hospitality?
I’m glad you ask. Well, to tell you honestly, the answer is also a question. What do you want to achieve in life?
With or without the pandemic, working staff in the industry are unsung heroes as a front liners. We make sacrifices to work on holidays, and miss important days of our love ones lives to serve others.
You see, some people struggle because they are programmed differently. If you have a goal. It is easier to achieve any thing you want in life than you can imagine.
Don’t fight to fit in when you know that things aren’t working.
The first 3 days of training will determine if you are good or not to the job. Every new company you work with gives a training, this is your chance to prove yourself.
Starting a job without experience is a test ground for companies. Some newly hired staff excel but most don’t and that’s the difference.
So, what is the future in the hospitality industry? Having a first hand experience, from the bottom up, I would say, it opens opportunity and possibilities. One day, you will be amazed and find yourself so eager to move out from the working force and just to start your own. It is never been a bad thing. When you fail, gather yourself, and move on.
One good thing working in a company regardless of size and service, you can always ask if you can work in other departments, because as a trainee, most companies gives a chance where you could fit in to help out.
If you are thinking twice, reach out and let me clarify some myths you might have read or heard on things about working in the hospitality industry is.
The question lies on how they preserve these machines way back then, since.
How many centuries have past, and yet, people with enthusiasm in automobiles keep their collections, and I mean, real collection.
This vehicle according to the owner is an old version of a fire truck, and because of the age and developments, production of parts have been stopped to give way to the “new” vehicles in those years.
Honestly, this collectible I wouldn’t mind to keep.

Adjust is a general term that can be used to anything.
When you move from one place to another, there will be adjustments. Work, new friends, food, culture and environment.
Same thing when you have a new job, you might know how to do things, but it needs time to sink in everything.
Adjusting in the workplace is no rush. Remember 1 or 3 months? That’s what companies give it’s new recruits to prove themselves if they fit in.
There’s a way on how to adjust, fast.
Let say, you have one month.
A week of training. In here, you should know that basics, how things run, flow of work, know the people and their positions and expertise.
The following week is a little of settlement, experienced or not, you are expected to show what you got.
Don’t be shy to ask questions, theres no right or wrong answers, only how you received them. What it meant, you have to ask the right person in order to get things straight.
The third and fourth week, mistakes should be minimized. Always remember, you have 1 month before you quit or the company kicks you out because of unsatisfactory efforts. Again, it will lead to the satisfaction of the job itself. No company keep employees who can’t help out.
The final week, if its five. I do believe that this is overlooked, by most, if not all employees in their probationary period. Stop learning. A big mistake.
In the first place, your eagerness to learn new things should be the same until the last day and beyond of your proba period. This will separate you from the others which only needs a job to survive.
